The Club holds speed events and social events, and tries to cater for the various requirements of the members. If you'd like us to hold a particular kind of event, please let us know - the Contact Us page tells you how.

1 June	Mini and MG Car Clubs Multi-Club supersprints at Baskerville.
31 August	Multi-Club supersprints at Baskerville.
19 October	Mini and MG Car Clubs Multi-Club supersprints at Baskerville. The following trophies were awarded: * Fastest mini under 1200 cc - Jack Perry 1.11.94 * Fastest Mini over 1200 cc - Matt Bart 1.13.14 * Best Presented - Greg Ellis MGA * Fastest Under 2 Litre - Peter Pyke 1.07.60 * Fastest Over 2 Litre - Adrian Martin 1.03.03

Basic requirements to participate:
* Car must be track/road worthy (checklist on Entry Form)
* Metal valve caps
* Clear contact on forward facing glass lights
* Approved seat belts or CAMS approved harness
* Minimum 0.9kg fire extinguisher with metal bracket
* Helmet to AS1698
* CAMS licence can be purchased on the day
* Must be a member of a CAMS-affiliated club - such as the Mini Car Club!

We hold regular social runs so members can take the little beast out for a spin.

Social Events For Your Diary
3-Feb-08	Club AGM. In the North this year, Westbury RSL at noon for a BBQ lunch, followed by the meeting at 1pm. Southern folk: meet at the Birghton Hotel car park at 9am.
7 Feb	Pizza at the Pinnacle!! We met at Shannon's at 7.30pm, and left at 8pm sharp (really!) for the top of Mt Wellington, where pizzas were delivered soon after we arrive. What a great way to start the year! Check out the photos...
3 April	Bowling night - Morris vs Leyland!! Normal Club Night at 8pm, then bowling at 9pm. Cost is $12 for two games - see you there!
4 May	Visit the Transport Museum in Glenorchy. Meet at Mures at 2pm, drive to Museum, followed by a BBQ at Tolosa Park at 6pm. A great day, must go again!
21 June	Top Bloke Day and Expo, Tasman Room, Wrest Point Casino.
29 June	Social Run to Richmond (was 22 June). Meet opposite Taco Bill's (Wheat Silos) in the car park, at 2pm. At Richmond we'll do the Maze, the Jail, the Lolly Shop, Bakery, whatever! Then a BBQ in the park at about 4pm. Nice!
26-27 July	The Winter Getaway returns. This year it's at the Tullah Lakeside Chalet, with dorms from $25pp, or ensuite rooms ranging from Budget ($80) and Standard ($110) to Premium ($140). We're planning a Quiz Night on the Saturday night. Book your room direct on ph 6473 4121. Southerners - meet at the Granton Ghost Train Park at 10am. Contact: James on 0409 981 274.
