Events

The Club holds speed events and social events, and tries to cater for the various requirements of the members. If you'd like us to hold a particular kind of event, please let us know - the Contact Us page tells you how.

Competition Calendar
24 Jan 10	Skid Pan Day at Rokeby Police Academy - what a day it was! There's a report here and snaps on the Photos page.
28 Feb 10	Multi-Club supersprint at Baskerville. Click here for a list of times, and here for a report. Some snaps are on the Photos page.
Other dates to be confirmed	Multi-Club supersprint at Baskerville.

Basic requirements for supersprints:
* Car must be track/road worthy (checklist on Entry Form)
* Metal valve caps
* Clear contact on forward facing glass lights
* Approved seat belts or CAMS approved harness
* Minimum 0.9kg fire extinguisher with metal bracket
* Helmet to AS1698
* CAMS licence can be purchased on the day
* Must be a member of a CAMS-affiliated club - such as the Mini Car Club!

We hold regular social runs so members can take the little beast out for a spin.

Please note that visitors are very welcome to join us on our social events - fire up the Mini (if you have one...) and come check us out, you never know, you might have a great time!

Social Events For Your Diary
13 Dec 09	Christmas BBQ at New Norfolk Esplanade. Meet at Shannon's at 4pm, usual BBQ provided.
16 Jan 2010	The Wrest Point South-East Rally is on again! Click here for more info and an entry form.
4 Feb 2010	First Club Night for the year!! 6.30pm at Shannons for a drive to Dru Point, Margate (or see you there). Club will provide a BBQ, drinks available.
7 Feb 2010	Club AGM, at the Man-o-Ross Hotel, 11am.
14 March	Shannons Car and Motor Cycle Expo, Rosny, 10-3. Minis gather at Montagu Bay Primary School at 9.30am to arrive in convoy.
28 March	Breakfast run to Tony Oates' place at Eaglehawk Neck, meet at Mures at 7.30am. The Club will provide the usual gr8 breakfast!
